Why You Won't Find Prices on Our Website (And Why That's a Good Thing)
If you've spent any time on our site, you may have noticed something: you won't find a full catalog of products with prices and an "Add to Cart" button. That's not an oversight. It's how we've chosen to do business — and once you understand why, we think it'll make sense.
Why There Are No Prices Online
Nearly everything we sell is custom-ordered. When you buy a sofa or sectional from Bassett, Palliser, or Parker House through our showroom, you're not pulling a finished product off a shelf — you're choosing the frame, the configuration, the fabric or leather, the cushion fill, the leg finish, and the options that fit how you actually live. With over 1,000 fabric and leather choices across our brands, the same frame can range widely in price depending on what you select.
So a single number next to a photo would be misleading. Quote the entry-level fabric and we've undersold the piece you might actually want; quote the top-grain leather and we've scared you off before you've seen how affordable the everyday options are. The honest answer is that the price depends on the choices you make — and those are choices best made in person, with the real materials in front of you.
What You Get Instead
Our showroom is a working floor, not a warehouse. Most pieces are out where you can sit on them, test the motion, and feel the difference between a performance fabric and a top-grain leather. You see the actual swatches in real lighting, next to the pieces you're considering — not a thumbnail on a screen that may not match what arrives. And someone on our team helps you narrow it down, so a thousand options become the three that are right for your room.
That's why our site is built around galleries and a lookbook rather than a catalog. We're showing you the work and the range — then inviting you to come see it.
Our Low Price Guarantee — and Why "Lowest Price" Isn't the Whole Story
None of this means paying a premium. We'll match the price of any authorized retailer on the same piece, configured the same way. The one condition is a fair comparison: the competing price has to include the same service we provide — white-glove in-home delivery, professional setup, and full removal of all packaging — and we compare on the pre-sales-tax total. Bring us the written quote and we'll match it.
But here's what we'd tell a friend: with furniture, the lowest sticker price and the best outcome aren't always the same thing. These are handmade pieces. Minor adjustments are sometimes part of the process — a cushion that needs fine-tuning, a mechanism that wants a small tweak after it settles into your home. When you buy local, that's a short conversation with a store that's five minutes away and knows the technicians in your area. When you buy from a company three states away, you place the order — and after that, you're on your own. We think that relationship is worth a lot, and our guarantee means you don't have to trade it away to get a fair price.
